Polaroid
DAY STAR, The NAME of Jesus
2 Peter 1 v 19 [American Standard Version]
And we have the word of
prophecy made more sure;
where unto ye do well that ye
take heed, as unto a lamp
shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the DAY-STAR
arise in your hearts: [Aramaic Bible in Plain English]
And we have also the true word
of prophecy, upon which you do
well to gaze, as at a lamp that
shines in a dark place, until the
DAY will shine and the SUN will rise in your hearts. [KJV (Cambridge Ed.)]
We have also a more sure word
of prophecy; where unto ye do
well that ye take heed, as unto
a light that shineth in a dark
place, until the day dawn, and the DAY STAR arise in your
hearts: ..and some versions say the
MORNING STAR but I prefer DAY
STAR because the morning star
won't shine all day. The
''Aramaic Bible in Plain English''
say the SUN and I agree that the DAY STAR is the SUN. The Sun is
the star at the center of the
Solar System. It is almost
perfectly spherical and consists
of hot plasma interwoven with
magnetic fields. For actually the Sun is one of the stars. The
nearest star to Earth is the Sun,
which is the source of most of
the energy on Earth. Other stars
are visible from Earth during the
night, when they are not obscured by atmospheric
phenomena, appearing as a
multitude of fixed luminous
points because of their
immense distance.
So to say the Sun is the DAY STAR is true for all other stars
are invisible during the day but
this one star called the Sun. And let us first define the day. A
day is a period of twenty-four
hours as a unit of time,
reckoned from one midnight to
the next, corresponding to a
rotation of the earth on its axis. The day we are concerned with
here is that portion of the full
day during which a location is
illuminated by the light of the
sun, also known as day time. Now Jesus is the DAY STAR, He
has to rise in our hearts. All day,
a day of our lives, Jesus lights
until the darkness of night
comes upon us and they bid us
Rest In Peace. We are to live as during the day for we are His
children.
[1Thessalonians 5:5]
You are all sons of the light and
sons of the DAY .We do not
belong to the night or to the darkness. We have to work while it is still
day whilist the DAY STAR is still
on high for night falls fast. For
He is our sun and in Him we
have all the light, the insights,
the warmth and all the good things of earth. The sun, DAY
STAR, is the only star that cares
for us, the only star nearer to us
and the only star we can rely on. DAY STAR, The NAME of Jesus

DELIVERER, The NAME of Jesus
Romans 11:26 [NIV:]
And so all Israelwill be saved, as
it is written: "The DELIVERER
will come from Zion; he will turn
godlessness away from Jacob. GWT:
In this way Israel as a whole
will be saved, as Scripturesays,
"The SAVIOUR will come from
Zion. He will remove
godlessness from Jacob. BBE:
And so all Israel will get
salvation: as it is said in the holy
Writings, There will come out of
Zion the ONE WHO MAKES FREE;
by him wrong doing will be taken away from Jacob: The NIV and most versions say
DELIVERER while GWT and the
BBE say the SAVIOUR and the
ONE WHO MAKES FREE. Yes the
DELIVERER is the Saviour and
the One Who Makes Free indeed but here let's consider
DELIVERER. Lets begin by trying to define
the word DELIVER.
1. To bring or transport to the
proper place or recipient;
2. To surrender someone or
something , to hand over. e.g. I delivered the culprit to the
police.
3. To express in words; declare
or utter: deliver a lecture.
4.To give birth to or to assist in
giving birth. 5. To give forth or produce: The
oil well delivered only 200 litres
per day.
6. To set free, as from misery,
peril, or evil: deliver a captive
from slavery. Number 6 above is what we are
talking about. To be set free by
a DELIVERER.
For an example of
DELIVERERANCE let us use the
story on; [Luke 8 v 26 - 29] “Then they sailed to the country
of the Gadarenes, which is
opposite Galilee. And when He
stepped out on the land, there
met Him acertain man from the
city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes,
nor did he livein a house but in
the tombs.'' (Mark 5:4b-5)
• Mark says: “neither could
anyone tame him. And always,
night and day, he was in the
mountains and in the tombs,
crying out and cutting himself with stones.”
• Here was a man in a
desperate situation. He NEEDED
deliverance from someone
better than all the men who
bound him in chains. Men chained him, adding a nail to
his coffin, but Jesus DELIVEREd
him from both demons and
chains.
Jesus is the Mighty DELIVERER.
No matter how strong the chains may be that bind you,
Jesus can set you free. And he
who the son sets free is free
indeed! [v29]
For He had commanded the
unclean spirit to come out of
the man. For it had often seized
him, and he was kept under
guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the
bonds and was driven by the
demon into the wilderness. "The name 'Legion' has a double
meaning. Literally, it means,
'Many, thousands, multitudes.'
But it also alludes to the
occupying Roman soldier legions
which numbered 3,000 to 6,000 each. "Christ shows by casting out a
legion of demons by his word
alone that his heavenly power
was appointed to deliver men
from the slavery of the devil.
This man’s story is a testimony of hope to anyone who
struggles to find freedom. Deliverance is all we need and
the DELIVERER is none other
than He who came for this very
purpose. Jesus wants every
bondage in your life broken and
the crooked places made straight. People need to be
delivered from various things
and habits, addictions to
alcohol, gambling;
porno,obsessive or negative
thoughts, demoniac attacks, depression, poor relationships,
bitterness, low self-worth etc
etc. In all these Jesus is worthy
as a DELIVERER. DELIVERER, the NAME of Jesus.

DOOR, The NAME of Jesus
John 10:7

NIV:
Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the GATE for the sheep.

NAS:
So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the DOOR of the sheep.

KJV:
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the DOOR of the sheep.

GWT:
Jesus emphasized, "I can guarantee this truth: I am the GATE for the sheep.

ASV:
Jesus therefore said unto them again,Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the DOOR of the sheep.

Some versions say Gate in place of DOOR, we shall come back to Gate later on but for now let's take DOOR.
We skip verse (8) eight and verse (9) nine says;
[John 10:9]
NIV:
I am the GATE; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.

NAS:
"I am the DOORr; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

KJV:
I am the DOOR: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

GWT:
I am the GATE. Those who enter the sheep pen through me will be saved. They will go in and out of the sheep pen and find food.

ASV:
I am the DOOR; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.

Let us first define ''DOOR'';
The Wikipedia defines the door a a movable structure used to open and close off an entrance, typically consisting of a panel that swings on hinges or that slides or rotates inside a space.
When open, doors admit ventilation and light. The door is used to control the physical atmosphere within a space by enclosing the air drafts, so that interiors may be more effectively heated or cooled. Doors are significant in preventing the spread of fire. They also act as a barrier to noise.
They are also used to screen areas of a building for aesthetics, keeping formal and utility areas separate.

A simple dictionary defines DOOR as a hinged, sliding, or revolving barrier at the entrance to a building, room, or vehicle, or in the framework of a cupboard.

How is Jesus the DOOR? He says it all in verse 7 above, ''I am the DOOR of the sheep.''
Sheep need to go out and come in and there must be a DOOR. Sheep need to go into the well for water and there must be a DOOR to let them in. Here Jesus is both the DOOR-way and the DOOR itseft hence some versions put it as Gate. The gate is usually not air-tight as the DOOR and we think the DOOR symbolize Jesus better than the Gate, at least on this scripture.

The DOOR controls air and wind entering the room or house and it stops-short intruders. The DOOR can be openned to let people in and could be closed to safe-guard those inside, from wind currents etc outside. The DOOR can be locked and/or unlock when necessary. The DOOR is the only universal legal point of entry.
[John 10:1]
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.

There are so many doors in this world but there is one door to the kingdom of God. There is no other way but through Jesus even as He says;
[John 14:6]
[NIV]
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

[American KJV]
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes tothe Father, but by me.

[Aramaic Bible in Plain English]
Yeshua said to him, “I AMTHE LIVING GOD, The Way and The Truth and The Life; no man comes to my Father but by me alone.”

Jesus is the DOOR. Roam all over the world but unless you come through the DOOR there is no other entrance into the kingdom of God. He is the DOOR to Joy and Happiness, the DOOR to Food and Drink, Shelter and Covering.

DOOR, the NAME of Jesus.
